Howdy All Readers! Today we are talking to Nisha Pandey, a blogger from India, her blogs are SeoTechyworld, Thetechpoint and Loudhere.
A big thanks to Nisha for spending the time in answering my questions!
Can you tell our readers about
yourself and your blog?
Hi, I am Nisha Pandey, founder at SEOTechyWorld.com, TheTechpoint.org, and Loudhere.com. Before I became a
full-time blogger, I worked as an SEO specialist. I am also a mom and a
homemaker. My blogs are tech-focused, covering everything from SEO to online
marketing to a wide range of software programs, gadgets and different
applications that make life easier for everyone from the tech-savvy, to the
tech-specialist to the novice. And Loudhere is a News Website.
Describe how did you first
get into blogging?
I had been an SEO specialist before
I came into blogging. The inspiration began when I became a mom and was
spending all my time taking care of my baby. I had a lot of time at my hands
and my SEO background made me think of making the most of the time. I began
writing focused on SEO and thus founded SEOTechyWorld.com. Soon I was
dedicating more time to blogging and the returns were so gratifying in terms of
both the response from my readers and the monetary side. I was amazed why I
didn’t think of becoming a blogger earlier. It’s such a world that I would like
anyone reading this to try. I am sure everyone would be surprised why they
didn’t get into earlier.
What was the most
challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?
Like anything, the beginning
is the hardest part. The initial phase of my blogging journey was the most
challenging part, not only because I had to kick-start my blog to generate
traffic, but also because I had to maintain a balance between my motherly
duties and blogging. I think overcoming that phase was the most difficult part.
How do you generate new
ideas for your blog?
I would be blunt to say that
this is where many bloggers fail. But things have been easier for me with regard
to this. When you have been in the SEO industry in the past, you get more room
to play with when it comes to finding new ideas. Remaining up-to-date with the
latest news and developments in the industry is one way to generate new ideas.
Interacting with your audience and learning what they are looking for is
another way to get new ideas. As long as you cater to these requirements, you
keep getting new ideas for chalking out your blog calendar.
Can you name some of your
favourite bloggers and explain why they are your favourites?
If you spend some time in
this industry and connect with other bloggers, you will realize that there are
so many wonderful people out there. I would be almost impossible to choose one
could be my favourite because everyone is so innovative and exceptional in what
they are doing. Still I would say that Neil Patel, Harsh Aggrawal and HarleenaSingh are the ones who have inspired me like anything. I have been mesmerised by their creativity and natural prowess to connect with their audience. It
seems so flawless and easy. With all these inspirational bloggers out there,
even after being here for so many years, I feel I have a long way to go!
What do you find the most
frustrating aspect of blogging?
That’s a difficult question to
answer. There are challenges all along the way and you keep overcoming them as
you grow as a more effective blogger. Getting that early breakthrough with
building your community is what I think the most frustrating aspect. You work
harder and harder but the results are not to your expectations. However, I
would like to tell new bloggers that it is a difficult phase but not impossible
to surmount.
A lot of people think that
blogging is an easy way to make money online. Do you have some tips for those
people who are interested in making money from the blog?
Instead of focusing on
making blogging a money-making thing, I would recommend taking a deep interest
in it before jumping onto the money-making bandwagon. You should become a
blogger in something you have a passion for. If it is not there, I don’t think
you can succeed with the money-making part. It is your passion for the topic
and your hard work that helps you build traction. Once you have the traffic and
loyal readers, you can start promoting relevant products and services with the
focus of making even more money.
I will continue to interview more people from the industry and I really welcome all your comments/suggestions.
