Twitter’s move to https is only for new links

A2z Thinkers | Twitter’s move to https only for new links
Twitter’s latest moving on https is only for new outbound connections only. One of the members of twitter development team published this in a thread. That,”Twitter will use the http's URL scheme for new links from October 1st onwards. The http's scheme helps Twitter securely deliver readers to the destined destination.”

While websites like Reddit and Wikipedia have recently gone HTTPS site-wide, Twitter will only utilize HTTPS on new outbound links.
That implies if you share a link on Twitter after October 1st it will be enclosed in: “http's: //t.co”. This allows Twitter to securely send visitors to the designated destination, even if the destination page is not an HTTPS link.
